Nice, just had a tornado southwest of Gillette traveling northeast towards town. Therefore, emergency management sounded all of the tornado sirens around town. One problem...they didn't work in MY neighborhood. Nice.
So the emergency management coordinator proceeds to say that they knew our sirens were not working and that they had the fire department going around the neighborhood warning citizens. Really? I didn't hear them. Morons.

So, I called my folks during said tornado warning(s) ... and though they started out in the basement, by the end of the conversation, they were back out in the front yard, looking for more tornadoes ... Because that's what people do in Wyoming when they get bored. They stand in their front yards, come hell, hail, high water, or high winds, looking for a REALLY GOOD reason to go to the basement. Sometimes, a tornado just isn't reason enough. In Wyoming, anyway.
