Newt v. Romney

I have not decided which Republican I am on board with. I think both have positive and negative issues. Neither is perfect or ideal. Several things about Gingrich attract me to him, however I think he is less "electable" than Mitt Romney. The Republican Primary is fascinating to watch. The attacks they are hurling against each other are amazing. I'm going to address one right here. During last night's debate in Miami, Romney stated that Newt resigned as the House Speaker in disgrace in 1998 because he was forced out due to ethics violations.

Newt resigned to save his party because he was blamed for the Republicans losing seats in the House in the previous election. It is nice to know the truth. Right Mitt?
